Solvay method
Sodium carbonate with the chemical formula NA2CO3, is a multipurpose chemical used in various industries. This product is generally produced by a solvay process. In terms of specifications its has two different grades:
- light
- dense
there are two types of it: one type is naturally occurring , which is produced from trona ore and is ready for use after filtration. This type is only available in Turkey and the USA.The other type is syntactic or inorganic , which is produced by a chemical product consisting of a combination of sodium and carbonic acid, with the addition of ammonia.
