calcium chloride

What is calcium chloride ?

Calcium chloride is chemical product which is well known as moisture absorber and formula is CaCl2  it is odorless which is white physically its granule, flakes , prills , liquid or even powder .Calcium chloride is soluble rapidly in water and its moisture absorber or dehumidifier agent .

All type of calcium chloride

  • calcium chloride powder anhydrous 94%, 77%
  • calcium dichloride dehydrate 99%
  • liquid calcium chloride

How calcium chloride produced?

Calcium chloride manufacturing process comprises the following steps: a, concentrating, namely concentrating to obtain a concentrated CaCl2 solution having a mass fraction of 68%-70%; b, crystallizing, namely crystallizing to obtain a crystal slurry comprising a calcium chloride dehydrate crystal and surface water, wherein the surface water is an aqueous calcium chloride solution having a CaCl2 mass fraction of 55%-60%; c, preheating and removing water; and drying, namely drying to obtain a calcium chloride dehydrate product having a CaCl2 mass fraction of 74%-77%. The production method has the advantages of being simple and convenient in process flow, easy to operate and control, energy-saving and environmentally friendly in equipment structure.

industrial grade

industrial calcium chloride seprate into powder anhydrous, calcium dichloride dihydrate and liquid calcium chloride.Industrial type is usually obtained by slops in ammonia alkali legal system soda ash production, and also obtained useful hydrochloric acid and Wingdale reaction.Industrial grade is mainly used as a coolant, deicing fluid, ice melting snow agent, fog dispersal dust removal agent, etc.Calcium dichloride dihydrate is especially suitable for the production of snow agents. In addition, propylene oxide and epoxy chloropropane are produced in slops, which also contain calcium chloride, which is another method to produce calcium dichloride dihydrate.
Existing production method is through the slops in ammonia alkali legal system soda ash production, after sedimentation removing solid impurities, evaporation concentration also removes sodium chlorine, after concentrated in 68 ~ 70% calcium chloride, enter flocculator and carry out film making, floc calcium chloride is dry in fluidized bed dryer produced calcium chloride (CaCl 2) calcium dichloride dihydrate of mass content > =74%.

Application

  • De-icing agent
  • Road surface construction
  • marine aquariums
  • food industry as firming agent
  • in production of beer
  • food industry in chees production
  • as drying agent
  • as an agent in concrete mixes
  • fabrics softener
  • plastic additive
  • use in heating pads
  • oil and drilling industry
  • decreasing melting point in some industry

 packing shipping of CaCl2

Package types. Solid forms come in a variety of package types, including bags, boxes, pails, drums and Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs).

  1. Bags are plastic or multilayered paper containing a moisture barrier. The bag closure is

either a valve-type* or heat-seal.

  1. Boxes are construct of cardboard with a plastic liner that is seal with a twist tie.
  2. Pails are heavy-duty plastic with snap-on lids.
  3. Drums are standard 50-gallon steel with a openingtop held in place with a clamping ring.
  4. FIBCs have a woven polymer exterior, a plastic liner and a bottom spout for unloading.

Packaged products delivering on wooden pallets, and most of them are either cover with a plastic cover or wrapped in stretch film. The type of packaging, size and pallet configuration vary depending on the product. Flatbed truck, enclosed van, intermodal container, or boxcar ships packaged products. Pallets loadion a flatbed truck should be fully covered with tarps to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the package and to secure the load during transit. A forklift or pallet jack is required to lift and move a full pallet of products. Pallets are usually four-sided, meaning they can be lifted from all four sides. Product inventory should be managed on a first-in, first-out basis to minimize the risk of quality problems due to moisture absorption that occurs over time. If a bag becomes damaged, it should be repaired and used before the others. Storage of Packaged Products. Palletized products covered by an intact plastic wrapper may be stored outdoors on a well-drained asphalt or concrete surface. If the wrapping is torn, punctured or removed, the palletized product should be stored indoors or under a waterproof tarp. Products packed in boxes, drums or FIBCs are usually not wrapped. Therefore, these packages should be stored indoors or under a waterproof tarp. Palletized pails are wrapped with stretch film but are not sheathed. Since buckets are waterproof, they can be stored outdoors without a waterproof cover.

Transportation of terms

its sell based on in coterms different delivery terms which customers are interest as below

CFR – it mean deliver to client port of discharge and all responsibility of shipment is by seller till container reach.

FOB – it means seller is no longer responsible for shipping costs and cargo deliver in port of loading to buyer .

DDU – it means seller is responsible for ensuring goods arrive safely to a destination; the buyer is responsible for import duties.
